No More Room in Hell 2 Maps: All 9 Maps in 1.0 Armageddon

After the 1.0 "Armageddon" update, No More Room in Hell 2 features nine maps total: six Objective maps and three Survival maps. The six Objective maps are Power Plant, Pottsville, Lewiston, Broadway, Beaulieu Hospital, and Raven Rock. The three Survival maps are Flooded, Lighthouse, and Night of the Living Dead. This page covers every map, its setting, when it was added, and what to expect when you deploy into it. Exact extraction points and loot spawns are not listed because they are randomized between runs.

Objective Maps Overview

Objective maps are large, open zones where your squad spawns scattered across the map edges. You push through Points of Interest (POIs) to gather weapons and gear, then converge on a final objective before extracting. Each map has its own layout, atmosphere, and mechanical twists — from the sprawling wilderness around Power Plant to the tight underground corridors of Raven Rock.

The six Objective maps were added gradually across the game's Early Access lifecycle and the 1.0 launch. Power Plant was there at Early Access launch in October 2024, while Raven Rock is the newest, added with the Armageddon update in August 2026.

Power Plant

Added at Early Access launch in October 2024, Power Plant is the oldest and largest map in NMRiH 2. It is set at the Pennsylvania Light & Electric power plant, ringed by wilderness on all sides. The map features 15 edge spawn points scattered around the perimeter, and six Critical POIs that gate entry into the plant itself.

Because of its size and the long distances between spawn points, Power Plant can feel isolating early in a run. Squads often take several minutes to converge, and the wilderness areas between POIs offer plenty of opportunities for isolated zombie encounters. The plant interior is denser and more dangerous, with tight corridors and industrial rooms that favor shotguns and melee weapons.

Pottsville

Added in the Reanimation update in April 2025, Pottsville is a linear rural-Pennsylvania town run. The map progresses through three randomized suburban neighborhoods, a Community Centre civilian evacuation scenario, and a Town Square research finale. The neighborhood layouts are randomized, so no two runs follow the exact same route through town.

Pottsville is considered one of the more beginner-friendly Objective maps because its linear structure naturally funnels squads toward each other and toward the final objective. The suburban homes provide good cover and plenty of melee weapons, but the open streets between neighborhoods can be dangerous when zombies spawn in groups.

Lewiston

Added during the Reanimation era in 2025, Lewiston is a dense Maine city map with far less cover than the other Objective maps. Squads start in one of two barricaded stores, and the interior layouts of these starting buildings are randomized between runs. The city streets are tight and packed with cars, debris, and buildings that limit sightlines.

Lewiston rewards cautious, coordinated movement. The lack of cover means gunfire attracts zombies from multiple directions, making melee weapons and suppressed firearms especially valuable. It is a map that punishes players who wander off alone, because the dense urban environment can separate squad members quickly.

Broadway

Added in the Broadway update (version 0.5.0) in July 2025, Broadway is set in New York City after a botched extraction. The map includes city streets, subway tunnels, and the Queens sewer system, with multiple mid-game scenarios and ending scenarios that change between runs. It is a varied map that moves between above-ground street fighting and underground tunnel crawling.

One important naming note: the original No More Room in Hell mod also had a map called Broadway. The sequel's Broadway is its own New York City map, continuing the legacy of the original setting, but the layouts are completely different. If you are following a Broadway guide, double-check which game it is written for before relying on its route information.

Beaulieu Hospital

Added in the Hospital update (version 0.7.0) in October 2025, Beaulieu Hospital is the first daytime map in NMRiH 2. It is set in a multistory hospital built around a central courtyard. The floor layouts are randomly generated between runs, so the internal layout changes every deployment. The map introduces the bio-scanner objective type, which requires players to locate and use scanning equipment within the hospital.

The daytime setting changes the atmosphere significantly compared to the dark, nighttime maps. Visibility is better, but the multistory building and random floor plans mean you can never fully memorize a route. The central courtyard is a dangerous open area that multiple corridors overlook, making it a natural choke point for zombie encounters.

Raven Rock

Added with the 1.0 Armageddon update in August 2026, Raven Rock is the sixth and newest Objective map. It is set in an underground military bunker in the mountains of southern Pennsylvania. Unlike earlier maps that spread outward across open terrain, Raven Rock has a descending flow — you move deeper into the bunker as the mission progresses.

The underground setting makes Raven Rock one of the most claustrophobic maps in the game. Corridors are narrow, rooms are tight, and there is little room to maneuver when a horde approaches. The X12 Super shotgun and strong melee weapons are particularly effective here due to the close-quarters nature of the environment. As the newest map, expect the community to continue discovering its mechanics and optimal routes in the weeks after launch.

Survival Maps

Survival mode was introduced in the 1.0 Armageddon update alongside its three dedicated maps. The mechanic is straightforward: speakers lure waves of zombies away from population centers, and your squad of Responders must defend them. Each Survival map has three POIs, with variations between runs. Hold three waves and a helicopter extracts you; fail two waves and an early extraction opens.

Survival runs are shorter and denser than Objective mode. They lean heavily on barricading, ammo discipline, and positioning rather than exploration and looting. The three Survival maps each have distinct environments that change how you approach defense.

Flooded

Flooded is set in an industrial complex overcome by storms in rural Pennsylvania. The map features multistory buildings, cargo containers, and heavy machinery, with groundwater flooding large portions of the area. The standing water is more than atmospheric — it makes downed zombies harder to confirm visually, and dry loot spots are rare.

Flooded rewards players who control the high ground. The upper floors of buildings and stacked cargo containers offer defensible positions, but you may need to wade through flooded lower levels to reach supplies or POIs. Melee weapons are particularly useful here because the water slows movement and makes kiting zombies more difficult.

Lighthouse

Lighthouse is set at a cliffside beacon on the coast. The map includes a small residential neighborhood and an abandoned construction area leading up to the lighthouse itself. The lighthouse interior is extremely tight, with narrow spiral stairs and small rooms that leave little room to retreat.

Lighthouse is a map about holding chokepoints. The construction area and neighborhood buildings offer more open space, but the lighthouse approach funnels zombies into predictable paths. Squads that coordinate field of fire across the approach tend to fare better than those who try to defend inside the cramped lighthouse rooms.

Night of the Living Dead

Night of the Living Dead is the most claustrophobic hold-out map in Survival mode. It recreates the iconic farmhouse setting, expanded with a guest house featuring an open floor plan, garage, and cellar, plus a barn with a large interior and lofts that are well-suited for ranged play.

The farmhouse and guest house are connected by open ground that zombies cross in waves, making it difficult to hold both buildings simultaneously with a small squad. The barn lofts offer elevated firing positions but have limited escape routes if zombies breach the lower level. This map is a particular favorite for fans of the classic film that inspired it, and it rewards tight communication and ammo conservation above all else.

Naming Confusion to Avoid

Two naming traps trip up returning players. First, Broadway exists in both games — the sequel's version was added in update 0.5.0 and is a New York City map, while the original mod's Broadway is a different layout. Guides referencing Broadway may be describing either game.

Second, classic maps from the original game like Cabin are not in NMRiH 2. The sequel's map roster is exactly the nine maps listed on this page: six Objective and three Survival. If a guide references a map name not found here, it is likely describing the original game or outdated Early Access information.
